Dan Carter is SVP, Creative+Design at Freeman, overseeing all creative teams and projects across North America, having held similar roles in Australia, China, South East Asia and the US, most recently as Executive Creative Director, North America at WPP’s Set Creative. 

He brings with him over 17 years’ experience managing creative, strategy and design teams, working to build many of the world’s best brands through digital and real-world campaigns, experiences, activations and events that have exceeded business expectations, wowed audiences and

Dan’s work has also been awarded by Cannes Lions & Spikes, Effies, Ex-Awards, Reggies, Stevies, Hermes Creative Awards and Adweek Media Agency of the Year.

Dan’s experience has taken him into brand experience agencies (working for Jack Morton Worldwide on three continents), creative agencies (Naked/C4), and media strategy (as a VP, strategy director at Carat in New York, overseeing Diageo and Mondelez). His clients are a diverse mix, with notable blue chip brands including Google, Porsche, IBM, GMC, YouTube, Volvo, Splunk, Sony, Webex, [yellow tail], LEGO, T-Mall and Lincoln. 

He also once launched an Oreo that tasted like a Firework, which…is something, for sure.
