CMO, Physician Promise
Chris Marino is the Chief Marketing Officer of Physician Promise, a digital healthcare platform that uses telemedicine with integrative and adaptive technologies to deliver personalized care to all patients. Physician Promise aims to reduce many of the inefficiencies in healthcare to provide more personalized and affordable healthcare to patients. The company was founded in March 2020 by Chris and his classmates in Cornell’s EMBA program: Dr. Shady Henien and Anand Narayan. In his role, Chris is responsible for developing an externally facing brand platform and digital patient acquisition strategy.
Prior thereto, Chris spent 9 years at American Express in roles of increasing responsibility. Over that time, Chris led several digital marketing transformations including redefining the company’s B2B Social Media Strategy, Paid Media Acquisition efforts and Brand Strategy. In each of these roles, Chris used customer insights to challenge the status quo and position American Express as a leader in the B2B space. Chris is passionate about using the intersection of data and creative to deliver meaningful customer experiences that impact the bottom line.
Chris graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S in Management and Marketing. He is currently completing his Executive MBA at the Cornell Johnson School of Management in May.
Chris is an avid foodie, traveler and Syracuse Orange basketball fan residing in New York City.
