Chad Mitchell is Vice President and Head of Content & Digital Platforms at TD Bank where he serves as a strategic thinker and storyteller, directing a team responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of TD’s corporate digital presence, including external and internal sites, social media platforms, and mobile environments.
Since 1994, he’s been designing and managing strategic brand storytelling, integrated communications plans, organizational reputational campaigns, digital experiences, and public policy initiatives and advocacy for some of the country’s largest corporations and advocacy groups. His experience spans work for Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, a custom software firm, three trade organizations, including a Fortune 25 trade association, and multiple political leaders. For such organizations, he has created campaigns that have built corporate reputations, driven sales, secured passage of legislation, and won elections.
Over the course of his career, Mitchell has built a network of professional relationships among corporate and political leaders nationwide and earned a reputation as an effective primary spokesperson and media contact. He is skilled in managing multimillion-dollar external and internal budgets and working effectively across organizational boundaries.
He has a BA in Journalism from Penn State and resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, two teenage children, one rambunctious bulldog and one strange, but cute, Boxer-Chihuahua mix.
