Carlton Fowler is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Goat Rodeo Capital and has over 15 years of experience across brand development, entrepreneurship and venture capital. He is passionate about helping to build early stage companies, with a focus on disruptive ideas in the Beverage Alcohol, Traditional Beverage and Cannabis Beverage sectors. Goat Rodeo investments include Archer Roose, DRNXMYTH, Lemon Perfect, One Hope, Sourced Craft Cocktails, Speakeasy Co., Vertosa, Ranch Rider, ELIQS, and Z Biotics.
Alongside his role at Goat Rodeo Capital, Carlton is a Founding Partner at sPacific Gravity, a brand development and go-to-market consulting agency providing expertise in the Beverage Alcohol industry.
Carlton kick started his career in Consumer Packaged Good Beverages at E & J Gallo where he led New Brand Development and Innovation with a strong emphasis on the spirits category. He was part of the launch for High Noon, one of the first and now leading RTDs in the marketplace.
Carlton received his M.B.A from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with an emphasis on Strategy and Marketing. He grew up in northern California in Grass Valley, and attended University of California Berkeley, graduating cum laude with a degree in Political Science.
