Blanca Stella Mejia

Blanca Stella Mejia is a digital leader with over eight years of experience in digital and social media strategy. Currently at IBM, as part of the worldwide social team at IBM z Systems and LinuxONE. Prior to IBM, she was a community manager for Microsoft Research where she managed a social platform created by Microsoft FUSE Labs. She also co-founded a digital agency in Miami where she helped business use the web to drive online visibility and generate leads with paid media, SEO, email, blogging, social media and other integrated digital marketing strategies. Besides being passionate about connecting through Social Media, Blanca was named by Latina Magazine as one of the top 25 Women Who Shine In Technology. She is very involved in the local grassroots Social Media community in South Florida and has been invited to speak about Social Media, Blogging, WordPress, SEO and Local Search at various conferences.
