VP, Connections, Anheuser-Busch
Azania Andrews is Head of Connections for Anheuser-Busch. In this role she is responsible for media, data strategy and partnerships, including all sports and entertainment partnerships for the U.S.
Prior to this role, Azania was Vice President of Marketing for Michelob ULTRA —one of the fastest growing beer brands in America. She led the growth of Michelob ULTRA from the number 5 brand in the industry to number 2 by dollars sales in three years. She launched Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold, the first USDA certified organic beer from a major brewer and among the top beer innovations in the last two years.
Azania joined Anheuser-Busch in 2013 where she led the charge in transforming the company’s digital marketing. She served as SeniorDirector, Digital Connections and was responsible for defining digital strategy and execution across paid, owned and earned media as well as leading the digital innovation agenda.
Prior to joining A-B, Azania was Vice President, BusinessDevelopment at WPP. There she focused on connecting client teams to WPP’s digital capabilities including specialist agencies and external partnerships across the digital media/marketing industry.
Before joining WPP, Azania was Senior Brand Strategist atY&R New York/Team Dell. There she worked with media, research and client partners to identify customer insights, identify target markets for brand investment and define campaign communications strategy forDell. Prior to joining Y&R Azania was a Digital Strategist asSchematic New York work on a variety of brands including Microsoft, ThomsonReuters and Target and a Marketer for PepsiCo’s Foodservice division.
Azania holds a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
