Angela Davied is the Vice President of Corporate Communications at H&R Block (NYSE: HRB), helping the organization share its transformation story, increase its brand relevancy, and live out its purpose in communities across the country, most importantly in Kansas City, home of the company’s corporate headquarters.
With 25 years in marketing and communications, Angela has helped organizations shape and tell powerful brand narratives, live out their values through community impact programs, raise the profiles of key executives, and bring a brand to life through powerful event experiences. Her work has increased sales, built brand equity and educated entire communities on important initiatives. She has guided companies through reputation management, crisis preparedness and rapid crisis response, including unfavorable state and federal legislation and cyber-attacks.
She currently serves on the board of the Kansas City Repertory Theater, and previously served on the board of directors for the Greater Kansas City Sports Commission, Urban Neighborhood Initiative, and the Arts and Recreation Foundation of Overland Park, Kan., which supports the Overland Park Arboretum, Deanna Rose Farmstead and public art.
