Amanda Simerman

Sr. Director, Plant Based Creamers & Whiteners, Danone 

Amanda Simerman is the Sr. Director of Plant-Based Creamers & Whiteners for the Beverage Creations division at Danone North America. Amanda joined Danone in March 2016 and is known for her results-oriented, pragmatic approach to business while being recognized as an outstanding people leader and coach.

Amanda has over 16 years of marketing experience across prominent CPG organizations.  At Danone, she has worked across BUs, driving both in-year growth and long-term innovation strategies on both Creamers and Yogurt.  Before Danone, Amanda spent time in Pepsi’s Global Nutrition Group, developing a global sub-brand for Tropicana with future earning potential of ~$100MM.  Prior to that, she spent nearly 10 years in progressively larger roles at MillerCoors where she launched one of the first large-scale digital partnerships for Miller Lite,  created compelling in-store activations for Blue Moon and ultimately led the Craft & Import Innovation team to deliver over 50% of the top two brand’s growth from ’12-’14.  Amanda holds an MBA from Georgetown and her BA from Yale in American Studies.  She is married and loves spending time cooking and laughing with her husband, Mike and their daughter, Evangeline.  She is also an avid reader, baker and enjoys traveling (when not in quarantine!) and is hoping to find time to coach lacrosse again soon.
