Sr. Director, Brand and Digital, Head of Global Brand and Digital Marketing, Visa
Alison J Herzog is the head of brand and digital marketing for Cybersource and Authorize.net, a Visa Solution. In her role, Alison is responsible for brand narrative, identity, experience, social media, paid media, and digital marketing, and most recently digital partner experience marketing. Alison joined Visa two and a half years ago and has since launched a total reset of the brand identity, from tone of voice to narrative, rebuilt and launched 20 website refreshes, built an in-house creative services team, and is currently overhauling all partner digital experience and site information architecture.
Previous to Visa, Alison was the head of social business and digital strategy for Dell Technologies. While she was there, she led the workstream for her respective area through the largest private tech acquisition in history. She’s been through three brand refreshes with each of her last three companies. While at FamilySearch, the largest genealogy company globally, she grew social following from 13k to over 1M in two years.
Alison has been recognized with industry awards as an “Influential Woman in B2B marketing” , an “Influential Woman in Digital Marketing”, a “Mover and Shaker”, and “10 Successful Women in the Digital Sector Who Destroyed the Glass Ceiling.” She has spoken across industry events and has been a published contributor in Adweek, Mashable, and American Marketing Association.
Alison currently resides in Austin, Texas with her family where she loves to run long-distance and has picked up saying y’all on occasion despite her best efforts to maintain her “city” accent.
