Verizon to Promote +play, a Service to Centralize Subscriptions, in Oscars Ad

Verizon is launching a new campaign during Sunday’s broadcast of the 95th Academy Awards to promote a +play, its service that allows consumers to centralize their streaming subscriptions in one place.

Verizon’s +play platform is designed for users to keep track of all of their subscriptions from Netflix and Paramount+ to Masterclass and Peloton. The platform allows the user to turn on and off subscriptions and bundle services for better pricing.

The :60 spot is set to the Beatles’ song “All Together Now,” and includes content from popular shows across these networks such as Wednesday and Stranger Things and films You People and Glass Onion. Actors Jenna Ortega, Jonah Hill, Ed Norton, Penn Dayton Badgley and more are edited together, singing the classic song in clips from their respective works saying the words “All,” “Together” and “Now.” Verizon worked with roster agency R/GA on the spot.

This week, Verizon is expanding the partnerships on +play to include 10 new partners. Additionally, beginning on March 12, customers can get 12 months of Netflix Premium on us with the purchase of a 12-month subscription to +play.
