ReserveBar has tapped Laura O’Shaughnessy as its new chief digital officer. 

In the new role, O’Shaughnessy will be responsible for overseeing the online customer experience, marketing, revenue, data services and ecommerce, reporting directly to the company’s president Derek Correia.

“ReserveBar and Minibar Delivery have incredible brands,” said O’Shaughnessy. “During this time of growth, there is a vast opportunity to increase beverage sales online. Consumer shopping behavior over time will go more towards convenience and being able to shop wherever and whenever. The beverage alcohol space is no exception.”

“I’m excited to work with the incredible team at ReserveBar and continue to bring innovation to this ever-changing beverage alcohol market landscape,” she continued. “Working with the entire team to scale ReserveBar and Minibar Delivery, we’ll also focus on continuing to create seamless experiences across every touchpoint. We’ll use data to test, learn and scale the approaches that work as we drive value, convenience, and exceptional interactions for customers.

O’Shaughnessy joins the online drinks retailer from Vroom where she most recently served as director of Vroom and Acuity Brands. Prior to Vroom, she was CEO for SocialCode, a social media consulting firm for 10 years.

“Throughout my career, I’ve been laser-focused on using data to drive the best experience for customers to remove friction from the customer journey and make them loyal buyers,” said O’Shaughnessy. “What drew me to this role is being able to work with an amazing team on a 360-degree customer-journey experience, overseeing marketing, revenue, data services, and e-commerce solutions, reporting directly to company president Derek Correia.”
