Red Bull Breaks Into Dance

To celebrate the return of its branded break dancing competition, Red Bull is looking to bring fans into the action – via a VIP experience – of break culture.

To commemorate the Red Bull BC One World Final competition’s return to the United States for the first time since 2009, the brand has released a limited-edition can, featuring images of Logistix and Victor, who are two of the Red Bull One All-Stars. The can will be available exclusively at 7-11 stories in the U.S.

Held since 2004, the Red Bull BC One World Final features 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls battling for the right to be crowned champion on the Red Bull BC One stage. Red Bull BC One has over 60 qualifier events around the world and camps and cyphers in more than 30 countries.

In addition to the special-edition can, the brand is giving consumers an opportunity to win a VIP experience at the Final in New York this November. Through an online competition, fans can watch breaking battles on Run Bulls content channel, vote for whom they think the winners are, and collect points for each correct winner named. Consumers can play the game as many times as they want, and the player with the highest cumulative score will win the experience.

These initiatives come not only as the Red Bull BC One World Final returns to the United State for the first time in 13 years, but also as Hop-Hop’s 50th anniversary approaches in 2023, and as breaking is set to debut as an Olympic sport in 2024.
