Mint Mobile has dropped a new spot starring owner Ryan Reynolds and Ronald Gladden, star of Amazon Freevee’s mockumentary Jury Duty.
The spot promotes Mint Mobile’s $15 a month mobile service plans – even during inflation. The spot comes as the mobile phone carrier recently announced an increase in data allotted for this monthly rate. The new offer gives consumers 25-50% more data for the same price, according to the company.
The spot plays on Ronald’s trust issues, a reference to his recent role as America’s favorite juror. In the spot, Reynolds hugs Gladden and playfully says, “You can trust me. I’m an actor.”
