Marriott, Chase Giving Three People a Chance to Shorten Bucket Lists

Life is short, and Chase and Marriott want to make sure their loyal customers take advantage of every moment. As such, the brands – through the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless credit card – have launched the “Boundless Bucket List Challenge,” which will award three winners the trips of their dreams.

To compete in the contest, fans will register online and then be asked to create a unique Pinterest board summarizing their travel aspirations, including destinations, experiences, hotels, travel companions and food. They will also be asked to create a short video or written essay expressing why the experience is important and how it will impact their lives.

The companies chose to partner with Pinterest based on the platform’s heavy use for travel planning. Pinterest has more than 25 million travel pinners on its platform and reports more than 73 million engaging in travel content globally every month. Top spots searched on Pinterest this year include Thailand, South of France, Japan, London and Barcelona.

To promote the contest, Marriott Bonvoy has enlisted travel enthusiast and influencer Tia Mowry to share her travel experiences and how those experiences have impacted her life. “I’ve always loved traveling and, every so often, there’s an experience or destination that truly moves you,” Mowry said in a release. “For me, it was visiting Egypt and seeing first-hand the rich history the country embodies.”

Each winner’s trip will be valued at $50,000 and will be planned by FROSH, a Chase company specializing in luxury leisure and corporate travel. Entrants do not need to be Bonvoy Boundless cardholders to participate in the contest.
