Kinder Bueno Elevates the Ordinary

Having taken the confectionary world by storm, Ferrero’s Kinder Bueno brand is back on television showcasing its product can perk up ordinary experiences. 

“The key message is Kinder Bueno has a taste experience that defies expectations and has the ability to elevate everyday moments,” said Shalini Stansberry, vice president of marketing for Kinder Snacking. “The whole idea is to demonstrate Kinder Bueno can take an ordinary experience and turn it into an extraordinary one.”

The commercial is part of the brand’s “Life Gets Bueno” campaign, which debuted last year. The spot depicts a young man riding his bike home from work. As he takes a bite from a Kinder Bueno, animated streamers come out of his handlebars to the delight of his neighbors, particularly the children. 

“The commercial is a visual metaphor for his experience,” Stansberry said. She noted the product has been particularly successful for the brand since its U.S. launch three years ago. The product was among the top 10 “Food and Beverage New Product Pacesetters” by IRI in 2020, and the company recently launched a mini version. 

The television commercial is currently airing in 15- and 30-second versions on linear TV and digital channels. In addition, the brand has partnered with several social influencers to show how the product can take their experiences from ordinary to extraordinary, Stansberry said.
