Amy Labroo Joins H&R Block as VP of Growth Marketing & Engagement

Amy Labroo is joining H&R Block as vice president, growth marketing and engagement, to support the company’s long-term growth and transformation strategy Block Horizons 2025.

The new hire comes on the heels of Jill Cress – a senior marketing leader who has worked for Mastercard, National Geographic and PayPal – joined the company as chief marketing officer in May. Labroo will report to Cress in her new role.

“Today’s modern marketing organizations require a new way of understanding and connecting with our customers, and using data at every step of the customer acquisition and retention process,” said Cress in a statement, shared with Brand Innovators. “I’m excited to welcome Amy to H&R Block as we continue to build our Marketing and Experience team. I know her expertise will be valuable in providing an outside perspective that will accelerate how we engage customers and drive business growth.”

In her new role Labroo will be tasked with steering the company’s performance marketing through a variety of media channels and direct-to-consumer engagement.

Labroo comes to H&R Block from Revlon where she served as senior vice president of digital, media & integrated marketing communications. Prior to Revlon, Labroo served as vice president, digital & creative marketing at Glaxosmithkline and head of digital marketing & media for Essential Products. Labroo earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Rutgers University.
