The highly anticipated year of Experiences – cue Tokyo Olympics, SXSW, and March Madness to name a few – took a devastating turn when events were cancelled left and right due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But while traditional events were no longer, experiences innovated, taking on digital formats in an attempt to fulfill physical voids.
