The Future of Shopping: Retail and eCommerce
It’s not just that shopping habits have evolved so much over the last few years, but that they continue to do so, drastically, ceaselessly, and at a relentless pace. The retail and ecommerce landscape is consequently wrought with both challenge and opportunities, as brands explore new ways to drive consumers in-store, and look to new partners and emerging technologies to bring their wares to the customer, wherever they may be.
From inventory availability to loyalty programs and synchronized support, both in-store and across devices, retail brands are in a unique position to capitalize on these changing dynamics to build meaningful customer affinity on the path to purchase and beyond.
After taking stock of the latest omni-channel retailing trends and loyalty program strategies, we’ll challenge our panelists for predictions about what customer experience, ecommerce, and loyalty may look like for retailers in the not-so-distant future.

The Discovery Paradox: The New World of Never-Ending Choice
In the new world of never-ending choice, how do you get people to “discover” your content? For marketers, while the many distribution options (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, discovery networks, search, and more) is a huge opportunity, it’s also a challenge. Where are top brands investing the majority of the time and how do they prioritize their time and budgets? Meanwhile, for publishers, how does the fractured ecosystem impact their traffic and their goals as a brand? In this panel, we’ll be talking to leaders from both the marketing and publishing industry about these challenges and more. They’ll tell us how their strategies have adapted to shifts in the digital landscape and offer insight into how they anticipate discovery will continue to impact their approaches in the year ahead.

Social Media 2017
The social media explosion over the past decade is arguably the most important paradigm shift in the history of brand marketing, to date. For the first time ever, consumers have a voice and the ability to establish an open and meaningful dialogue with their favorite brands. This new relationship has created a powerful tool and opportunity for brand marketers to build rapport and engage with their consumers on a 1:1 basis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Social has also provided brands with the a platform for turning their most loyal and avid fans into advocates and brand ambassadors; influential consumers who then leverage their social media channels and provide first hand references for their favorite brands.
We’re now at a point where new social channels emerge daily, each with its own audience and nuances, necessitating increasingly creative tactics to cut through the clutter and driving the development of digital tools to ensure social efforts are getting the right message to the right people.
How are the most successful brands in America successfully using social media to get a meaningful market advantage over their competitors? What’s the next big thing in social? Learn from the best.
