A little bit about me
Maurice has over 20 years of marketing experience for several of America’s iconic brands. At Campbell’s Soup, he led the turn-around of soup business by launching kids marketing and retail efforts that ignited interest among young families. At Mondelez, he led Trident gum to market share leadership launching several new products including $100mm Trident Layers. At PepsiCo, he oversaw energy drinks portfolio that involved 2 SuperBowl ads. As the US CMO for Weight Watchers, he led a historic turn-around with 11 consecutive quarters of member acquisition growth resulting in 10x market cap growth. He repositioned brand, initiated strategic partnership with Oprah, launched program innovations and activated $100mm+ behind TV, social, PR, digital and CRM. Since late 2018, Maurice has led marketing for the Americas at Avis Budget Group. This includes brand and performance marketing, E-commerce, CRM, Social, Loyalty and App strategy and deployment. Maurice is originally from Ecuador, grew up in Queens, NY and now resides with his family in Basking Ridge, NJ. He attended Binghamton University and the University of Michigan for his MBA.
